Classic quilts of Vermont is owned and operated by expert quilter, Ann Shaw. Ann
began quilting twenty years ago, and her skill and enthusiasm quickly earned praise
from her community. As a mother of eight children, Ann saw quilting as a way
to help support her family while being there for them full time. Over the years, Ann's
love of quilting has lead her to discover the rich harmonies created by the blending
of different colors and her strong sense of visual design is beautifully represented
in all of her work. Ann has participated in
numerous craft events and fairs as well as having
taught quilting classes in surrounding local
communities. She truly enjoys getting to speak personally to her clients, attending
closely to their tastes and wishes for each quilt she creates. Ann is an avid fabric
hunter and has a great knack for finding that perfect textile which turns a pretty
patchwork quilt into a master work of art.
Ann's custom quilts are hand cut, machine sewn and hand tied. She uses fine cotton fabrics
and polyester batting, so all quilts are completely machine washable. Once a quilt pattern
and color palette are decided on, your quilt can be completed in about two weeks' time. Quilts
are available in twin, full, queen, king, lap and baby size. If you like a full draping look
to your quilt, Ann is happy to add those few extra inches to any regular quilt size.
Classic Quilts of Vermont have a very fluffy loft and are exquisitely soft to sleep

are nearly now all grown, she continues to keep right
on quilting for her own satisfaction and pleasure. The
lovely springs, vivid autumns and snowy winters of
Vermont continue to provide her with endless
inspiration for new projects. She offers her fine
creations to the public and hopes her quilts will
bring joy to others and warmth to each home.
